Comcast Business Quick Pay

Situation: Comcast Business customers with multiple employees frequently expressed frustration that it was difficult to empower an employee to pay a cable bill on the My Account platform without creating a login or sharing credentials.

Task: As a Product Manager for Comcast Business My Account, I was tasked with developing an alternative payment solution that did not require a login but still maintained security standards.

Action: I worked with business stakeholders and the Info Security team to develop the "Quick Pay" solution which enabled business customers to make a secure one-time payment with only their account number and a ZIP code.

  • Collaborated with UX team to design mobile-first user flow within a single page to reduce friction

  • Wrote user stories for development team to develop functionality across two-week sprints and deploy ahead of target date

 

Results: Quick Pay contributed to 16% increase in digital bill payments YoY.
